I love books. From the Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games trilogy to Edgar Allan Poe’s compilation of short stories, Jane Austen novels, I love reading to the extent that I’m now (and I assume forever) wearing eye glasses.

3. The Business of fashion designing, manufacturing & marketing —- 6 books for a term is such a small number with the fact that College of St. Benilde’s School of Design & Arts’ library is so full of amazing reads!

Bought some fabrics awhile ago and finally out of desperation (I was really. Ever since friends posted the new issue of Preview Magazine, I’ve been looking for it in every Booksale, Fully Bookeds, National Bookstores, Ministops and 7 Elevens.) I got my latest issue of Preview Magazine! I really loved and agreed on the Top Ten Collections from the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011 collections shown last May.

Plus, the spread of the 3 Filipina Ford Model winners was… what can I say, a winner. 

That sounded like crap.

Anyway, particularly loved Chat Almarvarez’ spread with Jerome Salaya-Ang’s all white dress from his recent collection. 

Last Friday, I found this crazy small coffeetable book properly named: Prom Night. So, basing it from the title, it’s all about prom, that social event where guys should wear tuxes (steer faraway from Barongs) and girls wear “this is so hip and stylish but after 2 years, what the hell was I wearing that” gowns/dresses.

This amazing little book if filled with tons of tacky, old, cliche photos from people’s proms! It was fun. And I have this certain respect to those who sent their photos and had allowed it to be printed for the whole world to see. 

I salute you. 

And we come full circle to this, did you know Folded and Hung carries a wide array of amazing sunnies? Got this cat-eye ala Elizabeth&James/Ray Bans/Prada-esque shades! I’m still deciding if I’m going to let it stay as it is: a pair of shades; or make it my reading glasses. I’m still on the hunt for those perfect pair of cat (kitten/whatever)-eye frame or as my dad calls ‘em, Miss Tapia glasses. 

Oh, and F&H has this pair of round sunnies. 

I’m adding that to my birthday shopping list.
