Cheers to pastels & color blocking!

I don’t have much updates, I’ve been enjoying my time doing nothing. So here are some photos from a while back for Stache taken by the amazing Pat Nabong just to post a little something something.
Weeeeell, I’m not entirely doing nothing.
Graduation ball and prom season are finally here so I might be a bit busy! It’s been around 2 years since I got out of high school and suprisingly I’m still enjoying every prom season!
Prom means you’re going to work with students (and sometimes dun dun dun the mothers) which means most of them are pretty much on a tight budget.. and that’s where I come in. A design student enjoying every learning process along the way and most of the time, in dire need of money. Prom season is a real time internship you guys, you have to deal with the 3 Ms: Mothers, money and your mananahi! But since I’m still a student, I need to prioritize and need not rush into things. I just think of these as a really big DIY project!
Coincidentally, thank God it’s the award season.
Let the red carpet inspiration begin!
P.S. I don’t have a portfolio yet but I’m just an email away, kids! Hahaha.

Pumps, Chinese Laundry; faux leather jacket; People are People, neon skirt; bespoked by my ever awesome seamstress, cobalt blue dress used as a top; thrifted
I’m not going to leave the color block fad. I will always love and have a part of my heart dedicated to the style that rocked 2011. Cheers to more unpredictable color combinations!
Photo (by Pat Nabong) featured on Stache Magazine’s latest issue together with Lorenz and Vince. And have I told you, they’ve got Bj Pascual on the cover? Well, now that you know better check them out at: http://stachemagazineonline.com!
Oh fact #XXXX: I have never ever attended a Halloween party. Never ever. Well, that’s how home-y, I am. But do keep in mind, I’m not anti-social. I just love the internet & TV too much. Or maybe because of the fact that I grew up in the province… never was familiar with the term ‘going-out’ until 1st year highschool.
Yesterday, I went to SMX for Philippine Fashion Week to ‘watch’ shows. I didn’t watch that many shows, basically just went there because I just missed my old ‘work space’. Runway Productions got amazing and interesting people, you know. For short, Nakichika lang ako.
Anyway, I just watched one show, the amazing, jaw-dropping, stunning Slims show, featuring collections of Michael Cinco, Martin Bautista, Joey Samson and a new favorite of mine, Ezra Santos!
Marina Benipayo walked for Ezra Santos’ finale donning a heavenly white gown. Tgna, guys, she rocked it, she totally did. Just like when she walked for Michael Cinco and every Eric De Los Santos show. Queen of the Ramp si Madame M (Status)
Working with Runway Productions for the past seasons was pure bliss. But sometimes, it’s best to intake what you see without minding anything. It’s like you’re going to a museum, Fashion Week, like they do every time, was a gallery of amazing artworks.

Dressing up is fun. Crappy webcam photo of an outfit months ago.
So some might have noticed, this blog has been updated like never before. Well, I’ve got more time and less parental guidance (hi nay haha) ever since I’ve been staying again in Greenhills. Less travel time to school, more time to do useless things (catch up with How I Met Your Mother, New Girl and Big Bang Theory) and unfortunately, tend to forget some important things too. Boo.
Midnight in Paris, a Woody Allen film (one film from a long list of films I have planned but yet have to to watch) starring Owen Wilson, Marion Cottilard, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, Adrien Brody and Rachel McAdams. The movie poster was inspired by painting of Van Gogh “Starry starry night”.
Anyway, more about this exciting term, my History of Art & Design 2 is beyond great. Les Miserables for film viewing and then just a week ago our professor showed us some great paintings & artists (Impressionism, Romanticism, etc.) and let us watch an awesome art documentary from BBC.
History of Art 2 is great. Well I guess that’s just me.
My seatmate was snoring during our last meeting… and mind you, we were seated in front.
If I didn’t take Fashion Design, I’d be happy with Art History or Management (since I can’t compete to those people who have amazing digital/traditional art skills.)
Acne wish blouse, Chloé Scalloped textured halterneck bikini (which by the way is my dream swimsuit. Dream because it costs P12000++. ) ,Topshop MOTO hot pants, Jeffrey Campbell Leopard loafers, Mulberry clutch, Nasty Gal Weekend shades

Cheers to crappy webcam photos. I don’t want to set-up the cam anymore and work out with some crappy angle and crap. Meh, just trying to follow Ms. Camille’s (http://childhoodflames.blogspot.com) routine when not posting looks: Post webcam photos!
thrifted denim blazer, pants from my lil sister, necklace from bazaar, Rusty Lopez oxfords, stripped tee from dad and some bangles
Word of the day: Crap.
